Sri Venkateswara Balaji Temple in Birmingham had
Kumhabhishekam of Lord Ganesha and Lord Murugan (Karthik) at their temple from Friday, 9th of May to
Sunday, 11th of May. In showing her
support for this important event, HH Dr Bageeshwari Devi visited the temple on
Sunday. She was welcomed by the
President of Balaji Temple, Dr. Narayan Rao who personally took her inside the
temple to have darshan of Shri Balaji.
Respected Didiji was then invited to attend the cultural programme along
with Baroness Verma of Leicester. In her
speech, Lady Verma mentioned how Didiji has been a major source of her inspiration. Following the cultural programme
Respected Didiji was taken to the shrines of Lord Ganesha and Lord Murugan for
darshan.
Respected Didiji
will be returning to the Sri Balaji temple on this Thursday to give a series of talks on 'Devotion: The
Supreme Yoga'. The talks will be from
Thursday 15th May to Sunday 18th May daily 7pm-8.30pm. Admission is free.
