As no
doubt all of you have heard that Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, who was the
fifth original Jagadguru in the last 5000 years, brought his visible pastimes
on the earth to a close and left for the Divine Abode of Shree Radha Krishna,
on 15th November 2013.
Shree
Maharajji, as he was lovingly called by his devotees all over the world, was
the embodiment of Divine love. He revealed his Divine ecstacies in many
thousands of kirtans, bhajans, and padas that he composed. He was also the
veritable personification of the sacred knowledge of the Vedic scriptures, and
his illuminating discourses were eagerly heard by crores of spiritual seekers
around the world.
The
establisher of divine monuments like Prem Mandir, Vrindavan, and Bhakti Mandir,
Mangarh, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj was an ocean of compassion, and he
tirelessly worked for the spiritual upliftment of all humankind. His grace
showered upon all fortunate souls who came in touch with him, irrespective of
caste, creed, religion, country. The vast mission he established has hundreds
of branches in many states of India and nations of the world. His charitable
activities include establishment of numerous free hospitals, schools, colleges,
and service projects for the poor and needy.
Over
thirty devotees from UK have now been to Mangarh, Shri Maharajji's
birthplace where the final rites were conducted, pay their last
respects to Shri Maharajji. However, there are also many who could not
go.
As a special tribute
to our beloved Guru, we will be holding devotional keertan this coming weekend
at Shyam Sadan, 109 Edgehill Road Leicester.
This is the same place that Shri Maharajji had visited during his 2005
trip to UK.
It
is true that we continue to feel His presence each day in our lives
through the love and grace He showered on all of us and continue to do
so. Still it is very difficult to come to terms with His sudden departure
from our physical presence. In order to enable all the devotees to pay
their homage to Shri Maharajji the following programme has been arranged
for two days. Please do make every effort to attend at least one of
the days.
Saturday 7th December
2pm-6pm
Hosted by: Radhakrishna/Jyoty Shetty
Sunday 8th December
10am-2pm
Hosted by: Vinubhai Vaghela
*
Programme on both days will consist of devotional chantings (mostly
Hare Ram and Guru Keertans) and during the session devotees will also
have the opportunity to offer floral tribute and do pranaam at the
Charan Paduka of Shri Maharajji.
